#PROPER CARE for Antique Gold
When cleaning, we use warm water to restore the shine to the piece. Many jewelers use a "steam" cleaning. You will be amazed to the shine you will get. If you follow this advice and I assure you will have your piece for a lifetime and yes, it will always recover the shine as the first day when you bought it.

GP means Gold-Plated while GF means Gold-Filled.
GF (Gold-Filled) is made with solid gold, from 50 to 150 mills of "solid" gold mixed with other alloys of metals these metals vary among copper, rodhium (a member of the platinium family). The process is different since its done through "heat" which gives the gold the property of sticking longer giving it lifetime quality in contrary of GP
(Gold-Plated) which fades fast.
1/10 means that the thickness (ratio) of Gold is 1/10 of the whole.
